Apple Watch 4: why it matters to your business

While the smartwatch market is growing fast and adoption is booming (StatistaNPD), brands are unclear on how to reach out to their customers on the wrist — meaning launching great smartwatch apps that are profitable for them and essential for users. Apple Watch 4 represents the most important Apple Watch redesign since its inception in 2014.

-    New design. Whereas the first three versions all embraced the same look and dimensions, Apple Watch 4 ushers in smaller bezels, a significantly larger and edgeless display (more than 30 percent bigger than previous models) and a more trendy form factor.
-    More power. The smartwatch touts higher performance (it is two times faster than earlier models), enabling incredible new customer experiences on the wrist.
-    Greater-content display. Thanks to the larger screen, the watch now allows for more display features, providing users with faster access to apps and even more information at a glance.
-    WatchOS 5. The latest OS introduces cool new features, like fast Siri activation — simply by raising your wrist to your face —  a walkie-talkie mode, automatic workout detection and more.
-    Smart health services. It has a FDA-approved heart rate technology, fall detection, built in ECG and new sensors.
